Quincy Catholic Schools Celebrate Catholic Schools Week

Quincy’s Catholic Elementary Schools are gearing up to celebrate Catholic Schools Week (CSW) from January 24 through February 2. Established in 1974, this annual tradition highlights the value of Catholic education in nurturing young minds, fostering faith, and contributing to the Church, community, and nation.

The week will begin with a powerful expression of faith as students and faculty gather virtually for a Rosary at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, uniting all four elementary schools and Quincy Notre Dame. “To begin our week in prayer with the entire Catholic school community in Quincy is a powerful way for our students and faculty to center their hearts on Christ and set the tone for a week of gratitude and celebration,” said Dr. Christopher Gill, Chief Administrative Leader of Quincy Catholic Schools.

Throughout the week, schools will honor various groups who play vital roles in Catholic education, including parishes, the community, students, the nation, vocations, faculty, staff, volunteers, and families.

Each school has a variety of planned activities throughout the week. If you are interested in learning more or would like to visit a school during the celebrations, please use the contact information above to arrange a visit.
