About the QCES Foundation
The Quincy Catholic Elementary Schools (QCES) Foundation was incorporated in July 2009 as a not-for-profit, private foundation in the State of Illinois. Governed by a board of directors composed of parishioners from Blessed Sacrament, St. Anthony, St. Francis, and St. Peter, the foundation’s mission is to enhance Catholic education and ensure it’s accessible to all who desire it.
Our mission is to enhance the gift of Catholic education.
We envision a thriving Catholic education system which creates a positive impact in our community.
The QCES Foundation’s primary focus is to raise funds and distribute tuition assistance to qualifying families. Tuition assistance is made possible by the generosity of donors who are committed to supporting students. These donors provide the opportunity for a truly formative elementary education, one that builds a foundation for developing faithful, moral, respectful, accountable, hard-working, and generous adults.
Since the foundation began awarding tuition assistance, more than $1.29 million in tuition assistance has been awarded to thousands of students. Tuition assistance is not merely about financial relief for families; it is a cornerstone sustaining the accessibility of Catholic education. Tuition assistance benefits every Catholic elementary school student. Without this crucial support, there would be a significant loss to enrollment and a higher financial strain on our parishes and families.
