QCES Leadership Team to Host Listening Sessions

As we look to the future of Catholic education in our community, it is vital that we work together to ensure our schools remain strong and that we, as a Catholic community, remain proactive and ready to respond to the challenges and opportunities that come our way. With that in mind, we need your help!

The Quincy Catholic Education Leadership Team has been meeting for more than two and a half years with the challenge to assess our current schools, their financial health, and their sustainability; to identify future obstacles and opportunities; and to develop a shared vision and proposal to secure and enhance the future of our schools. This team consists of the four pastors, the five principals, two representatives from each parish/school, and representatives from the Quincy Catholic Elementary Schools Foundation, Quincy Notre Dame, and the Quincy Notre Dame Foundation.

The work throughout the past two and a half years has resulted in a proposal for the future of our schools which will be shared at listening sessions held April 1 and 2. As a parent or guardian, we encourage you to attend one of the sessions listed below and be part of the process. Those in attendance will have an opportunity to offer feedback, pose questions for consideration, and share ideas which the team will then use to inform and guide its next steps. You are welcome to attend whichever session works best for your schedule regardless of which school/parish you may attend. You are also invited to attend as many sessions as you would like; however, the information shared at each will be the same.
